About Shoal Conservation
Shoal Conservation is a non-profit organisation that aims to protect freshwater species and ecosystems worldwide.
Its mission is to connect individuals, organisations, and governments to implement conservation projects that conserve biodiversity. Its work falls under three main strategic pillars: “inspire, mobilise, and act“.
Objective
Shoal’s primary goal was to create an engaging website that helps raise awareness, connect and provide easy access to its supporters, donors and partners, and help with project updates.
Non-profit Website Design Key Features
To help Shoal achieve its goals, we included the following features:
- Donation System
A streamlined donation platform that enables users to contribute easily. Features include multiple donation tiers, such as monthly, annual or one-time donations.
- News and Stories Section
This section showcases Shoal’s conservation updates, stories, videos, and more, with captivating visuals and detailed descriptions.
- Design and Branding
The website features an intuitive and clean design, with shades of blue and light green reflecting freshwater ecosystems.
The new design features interactive elements and captivating content that improve user experience while aligning with the organisation’s brand.
- Easy and Intuitive Navigation
For an intuitive and user-friendly journey, we created a menu that offers easy access to organisation information, news, stories, careers, donation options, and educational resources.
The website’s content is also translated into 22 languages, which users can choose from the top right corner.
- Community Engagement Tools
Social media channels integration and other sections such as news and stories, donations, careers and contact encourage continuous engagement and expand Shoal’s reach and support network.
Outcome
The result is a user-friendly platform that simplifies donations and helps the organisation connect with supporters worldwide.
