LGIU approached Douglass Digital during the pandemic to initially provide support on their existing WordPress membership website which was originally integrated with Nutshell CRM. The existing integration was unreliable. Also the front end join online processes were clunky and needed a complete refresh. Intially we were tasked with hosting, supporting and maintaining the existing website as well as implemeting key improvements to the join online process.
A larger phase of the project came a long shortly afterwards where we identified that CiviCRM would be a perfect fit for the orginsations needs. LGIU has predominatly a corporate membership structure where we have enabled employees of existing member organisations to onboard themselves onto the website and the new members area with great ease. LGIU are also introducting a new indivdual based membership structure for Global members throughout the world. The CRM platform supports every membership type including payments as well as a very slick integration with Mailchimp.
