Founded in 2011, Radcliffe and Rust is an independent estate agent offering residential sales and lettings services in and around Cambridge.
Douglass Digital was approached by Radcliffe and Rust as the existing website was outdated, inflexible, and not performing well from an organic search perspective.
We built the new Radcliffe and Rust website early in 2020. We designed the website to help showcase their properties, services, blog articles, case studies, and more.
We focused on creating a clean, user-friendly and responsive interface, with statics visual aids and colours representative of their brand.
The importance of this website was to cover all of the services offered by Radcliffe and Rust to attract the right type of visitors, not just display the properties available.
The new website is integrated with the standard UK Estate Agency Software, Vebra Alto.
Vebra Alto is an estate agency software for managing property sales and lettings. The software allows properties for sale and rent to be updated automatically on the website.
We have implemented this to pull the content through to a property post in WordPress, which helps with regular content updates, keeping the website looking fresh for visitors.
Our SEO strategy for Radcliffe & Rust focuses mostly on local SEO optimisation to target audiences in and around their active areas.
The SEO strategies for estate agencies include using local keywords, detailed property descriptions, and integrating platforms like Alto Vebra.
We are proud to have helped a young Estate Agency climb the Google Rankings to Page 1 for several competitive keywords, ultimately increasing online exposure, building traffic, and helping them grow as a business.

We have been very pleased from day one of the new website design and our ongoing SEO management.
Charlie and the team have been very helpful in listening to our initial wants and need of a new site/re-brand and implementing our wishes.
Once the fresh new website was up and running, we have asked them to continue to manage our SEO presence and, for very specific key words, have got us up from page 6 of google to page 1. Charlie even has time for my random calls where I go on about nonsense… although I am sure his patience will run out with me one day!
