The British Association for Immediate Care

Immediate care is the provision of skilled medical help at the site of an accident or other medical emergency, or in transit.

The client

The British Association of Immediate Care (BASICS) is a charity organisation for pre-hospital emergency medicine who work alongside paid Emergency Services since it was formed in 1977.

Project Description

BASICS approached Douglass Digital with a view of updating and refreshing their old and out-dated website.

The new WordPress membership website had to include features such as an interactive members area with online groups, join online and membership renewal payment processes as well as events and course booking. As part of this project, Douglass Digital imported all of the members from the old CMS and CRM system and created a flexible export capability for detailed filtering and reporting.

The website also has an e-Commerce shop enabling the sales of BASICS merchandise and documentation.

Further features include a safety ID check; this is a members search that will show an active member, photo and membership number for the emergency services to use.

The back-end administration area has all the common features including SEO and page building software.
